Title: Consider recommendations regarding the All Ways Clean agreement amendment, as follows: a) Find, in accordance with Government Code Section 31000, the County does not have employee resources to complete the custodial work currently being completed by All Ways Clean and that the County's economic interests are served by the amendment; b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an amendment to the Agreement with All Ways Clean for additional janitorial services for the Department of Social Services Santa Maria leased facilities, for the period of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016, increasing the agreement by $2,520.00 for a total amount not to exceed $121,380.00; and c) Determine that the approval and execution of the Amendment to the Agreement is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), finding that the execution of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only t...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding the All Ways Clean agreement amendment, as follows:

 

a) Find, in accordance with Government Code Section 31000, the County does not have employee resources to complete the custodial work currently being completed by All Ways Clean and that the County’s economic interests are served by the amendment;

 

b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an amendment to the Agreement with All Ways Clean for additional janitorial services for the Department of Social Services Santa Maria leased facilities, for the period of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016, increasing the agreement by $2,520.00 for a total amount not to exceed $121,380.00; and

 

c) Determine that the approval and execution of the Amendment to the Agreement is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), finding that the execution of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment, and where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity may have a significant effect on the environment, the activities are not subject to CEQA.
