Title: Consider recommendations regarding approval of County Surveyor Services Agreement with the City of Santa Barbara, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a Service Contract Agreement with the City of Santa Barbara for County Surveyor Services. Authorize Aleksandar Jevremovic, County Surveyor, to perform land surveying duties assigned to the City Engineer, contingent upon approval of this agreement by the City Council of the City of Santa Barbara; and b) Find that the proposed approval and authorization of this Services Contract Agreement, does not constitute a "Project" within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to 14 CCR 15378 (b)(5) (Organizational or administrative activities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment), and approve and direct staff to file a Notice of Exemption on that basis.
