Title

Consider recommendations regarding Environmental Services for the construction of Bonita School Road Bridge Replacement, County Project No. 862367, Third and Fifth Districts, as follows:

 

a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the contract for Environmental Services with Padre and Associates Inc. to complete the environmental documentation required for the construction of Bonita School Road Bridge 51C-230 replacement over the Santa Maria River; for a base contract amount not to exceed $105,549.00; with a 10% contingency of $10,555.00, for a total project amount not to exceed $116,104.00;

 

b) Authorize the Director of Public Works or designee to approve changes or additions in the services being performed in an amount not to exceed $10,555.00; and

 

c) Find that the proposed contract, does not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to 14 CCR 15378 (b)(5) (Organizational or administrative activities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.), and approve and direct staff to file the Notice of  Exemption on that basis.
