Consider recommendations regarding Behavioral Wellness Fiscal Year (FY) 2015-2016 Alcohol and Drug Program Contract Increases and Budget Revision Request, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Aegis Treatment Centers, LLC (a local vendor), for the provision of narcotic treatment programs, to increase the contract by $632,300.00 for a maximum amount not to exceed $3,560,100.00 through June 30, 2016;
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Coast Valley Substance Abuse Treatment Center (a local vendor), for the provisions of substance use disorder services, to increase the contract by $141,433.00 for a total Contract amount not to exceed $984,379.00 through June 30, 2016;
c) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Good Samaritan Shelter, Inc. (a local vendor), for the provisions of substance use disorder services, to increase the contract by $41,500.00 for a maximum amount not to exceed $1,921,229.00 through June 30, 2016;
d) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Sanctuary Psychiatric Centers (a local vendor), for the provisions of substance use disorder services for dually diagnosed adults, to increase the contract by $35,000.00, for a new maximum amount not to exceed $314,790.00 through June 30, 2016;
e) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0004381 increasing appropriations of $825,233.00 in the Behavioral Wellness Department, Alcohol and Drug Programs Fund for Services and Supplies funded by unanticipated revenue from Federal Substance Abuse (SAMHSA) Grants ($68,500.00) and Drug Medi-Cal ($756,733.00); and
