Title: Consider recommendations regarding Workforce Education and Training/Southern Counties Regional Partnership Service Contract with Events Enterprises, Inc., as follows: a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Events Enterprises, Inc. (not a local vendor), for planning and overall event coordination of Workforce Education and Training /Southern Counties Regional Partnership Mental Health conference, Difficult to Engage, Difficult to Reach Populations, for a total contract maximum not to exceed $150,000.00 for the period August 15, 2016 through June 30, 2017; and b) Determine that the above actions are organizational or administrative activity of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment, pursuant to section 15378(b)(5) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines.
