Consider recommendations regarding a request to accept the 2016 Department of Justice Enhanced Collaborative Model to Combat Human Trafficking grant to the Sheriff’s Office totalling $747,737.00, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Authorize the Sheriff or designee to execute a grant agreement with the United States Department of Justice, accepting the Enhanced Collaborative Model to Combat Human Trafficking grant, totaling $747,737.00 over the course of the three-year grant project;

 

b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0004809 to increase appropriations of $251,407.00 in Sheriff General Fund for Salaries and Benefits ($177,340.00), Services and Supplies ($64,992.00) and Other Charges ($9,075.00) funded by unanticipated revenue from Intergovernmental Revenue - Federal;
