HEARING - Consider recommendations regarding the appointments of members to the Behavioral Wellness Commission, as follows: (EST. TIME: 10 MIN.)

 

a) Appoint a member of the Board of Supervisors or Designee to the New Behavioral Wellness Commission;

 

b) Appoint the following community members to the Behavioral Wellness Commission:

 

i) First District Supervisor Das Williams recommended appointee:

 

1) Wayne Mellinger - Term expiring January 2020;

 

ii) Third District Supervisor Joan Hartmann recommended appointee:

 

1) Peter Claydon - Term expiring January 2020; and

 

2) The Reverend Mary Moreno Richardson - Term expiring January 2020; and

 

iii) Fifth District Supervisor Steve Lavagnino recommended appointee:

 

1) Ann Bartlett Eldridge - Term expiring January 2020; and

 

c) Determine that these activities are exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review per CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(5) since the recommended actions are government administrative activities which do not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
