Title: Consider recommendations regarding an Amendment to an Agreement with California Victim Compensation Board (CalVCB) for Victim Claims Verification Services Grant, as follows: a) Adopt a Resolution authorizing the District Attorney to execute an Amendment to the Grant Agreement with the California Victim Compensation Board (CalVCB) dba California Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board for Victim Claims Verification Services for the period of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2018, which will: i) Amend the agency name to CalVCB; ii) Make minor changes to the original Agreement language; and iii) Increase the total Agreement amount by $11,800.00, for a new total agreement amount not to exceed $707,992.00; and b) Determine that the above action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), because it consists of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities, which do not involve any commitment ...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding an Amendment to an Agreement with California Victim Compensation Board (CalVCB) for Victim Claims Verification Services Grant, as follows:

 

a) Adopt a Resolution authorizing the District Attorney to execute an Amendment to the Grant Agreement with the California Victim Compensation Board (CalVCB) dba California Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board for Victim Claims Verification Services for the period of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2018, which will:

 

i) Amend the agency name to CalVCB;

 

ii) Make minor changes to the original Agreement language; and

 

iii) Increase the total Agreement amount by $11,800.00, for a new total agreement amount not to exceed $707,992.00; and

 

b) Determine that the above action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), because it consists of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
