Title
Consider recommendations regarding First Amendments to the Agreements with Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families for Child Welfare Services (CWS) Senate Bill 163 (SB 163) Wraparound Services and Safety Watch Services Program, as follows:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a First Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families (Casa Pacifica) in the amount not to exceed $710,000.00 to provide CWS SB 163 Wraparound Services for the period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018;
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a First Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Casa Pacifica in the amount not to exceed $7,000.00 for the period of July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, and $8,000.00 for the period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018, for the provision of Safety Watch Services Program; and
c) Determine that the approval and execution of these Amendments are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), finding that the approval and execution of the Amendments are covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment, and where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity may have a significant effect on the environment, the activities are not subject to CEQA.
