Title: Consider recommendations regarding Aurora Vista Del Mar Fiscal Years (FY) 2016-2018 Second Amendment and a one-month extension, as follows: a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Chair to execute the Second Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Aurora Vista Del Mar Hospital (not a local vendor), for the provision of additional acute inpatient services, to increase the FY 2016-2017 total contract amount by $250,000.00 to cover unanticipated increased demand, and to extend the contract by one month into FY 2017-2018 for a projected additional $250,000.00, for a new total contract amount not to exceed $2,724,000.00 through July 31, 2017; and b) Determine that the above actions are government fiscal activities or funding mechanisms which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment, and are therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) ...

Title
