Title: Consider recommendations regarding an agreement with Idea Engineering for Workforce Education and Training (WET) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-2018, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Idea Engineering (a local vendor), on behalf of the Southern Counties Regional Partnership (SCRP) WET program through its fiscal agent, the Department of Behavioral Wellness, for the provision of services to create recruitment and marketing material for SCRP outreach to a culturally diverse workforce, for a total contract amount not to exceed $160,000.00 through June 30, 2018; and b) Determine that the above actions are organizational or administrative activity of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment, pursuant to section 15378(b)(5) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines.
