Consider recommendations regarding Appointments to the CenCal Health Board of Directors, as follows:

 

a) Approve the Appointment of Van Do-Reynoso, MPH, PhD, Director of the Public Health Department (Classification-County of Santa Barbara) to the CenCal Health Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2018;

 

b) Reappoint the following CenCal Health Board members for a two-year term, effective January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2019;

 

i) Daniel Herlinger, Consumer Classification-Community Business;

 

ii) Kurt Ransohoff, MD, Provider Classification-Physician, Medical Society Representative; and

 

iii) Kerin Mase, Provider Classification-Hospital Administrator-South County; and

 

c) Determine that these activities are exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review per CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(5) since the recommended actions are government administrative activities which do not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
