Title: Consider recommendations regarding a Professional Services Agreement with Federal Engineering, Inc. for services associated with public safety radio system replacement project, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Federal Engineering, Inc. for consulting services associated with the Public Safety Radio System Replacement Project in the amount of $231,381.00; b) Approve and authorize the Director of General Services to issue amendments to the above agreement in an amount not to exceed $23,138.10 for a total not to exceed of $254,519.10; and c) Find that the proposed actions are not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to sections 15378(b)(5) of the CEQA Guidelines, because they consist of administrative activities of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment, and direct staff to file of a Notice of Exemption on that basis.
