Title

Consider recommendations regarding Jalama Beach Affordable Overnight Accommodations, Project No. 8703, Amendment to Professional Services Agreement (PSA), Third District, as follows:

 

a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute Amendment No. 3 to the PSA with Blackbird Architects, Inc. for design work for the Jalama Beach Affordable Overnight Accommodations Project increasing the amount by $7,600.00 to a total of $208,916.25;

 

b) Authorize the Director of  General Services or designee to approve further amendments to the PSA with Blackbird Architects, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $18,335.00 for a total contract amount not to exceed $227,251.25; and

 

c) Determine that the proposed action does not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to 14 CCR Section 15378(b)(5) (Organizational or administrative activities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect changes in the environment) and direct staff to file a Notice of Exemption on that basis.
