Title: Consider recommendations regarding a First Amendment to the Good Samaritan Shelter Services Agreement, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the First Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor Good Samaritan Shelter to provide substance abuse screening, referral, and treatment for the homeless population increasing the amount by $35,000.00 for a total contract amount not to exceed $50,000.00, and adding an additional year for revised period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2019; and b) Determine that the approval and authorization of the above Agreement is not a "project" under the California Environmental Quality Act review per Guideline Section 15378(b)(4), since the recommended action is for government fiscal activity that does not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
