Title: Consider recommendations regarding Workforce Education and Training (WET)/Southern Counties Regional Partnership (SCRP) First Amendment to Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-2018 and FY 2018-2019 Idea Engineering Inc. Contract, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a First Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Idea Engineering (a local vendor), on behalf of the SCRP and WET program through its fiscal agent, the Department of Behavioral Wellness, for the continued provision of recruitment and marketing services for SCRP, to extend the contract through Sept. 30, 2018, with no change to contract amount; and b) Determine that the above actions are organizational or administrative activity of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment, pursuant to section 15378(b)(5) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines.
