Title: HEARING - Consider recommendations regarding a Public Safety Dispatch Center Report, as follows: (EST. TIME: 1 HR. 30 MIN.) a) Receive and file an update from staff on Public Safety Dispatch alternatives; b) Consider options for Public Safety Dispatch; c) Provide staff with conceptual direction on a recommended Public Safety Dispatch alternative and direct staff to return within 60 days with further financial and timing information to fund the selected option; or d) Provide other direction, as appropriate; and e) Determine that the above actions are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), because they consist of the creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
