Title
Consider recommendations regarding an amendment to Agreements for Services of Independent Contractors with MNS Engineers, BC 17231; Bengal Engineering, BC 17232; and Rende Consulting, BC 17233 for Engineering Consulting Services, as follows:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the First Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Bengal Engineering (a local vendor) for engineering consulting services to extend the period of performance for an additional 2 years making the entire term December 13, 2016 through December 12, 2020;
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the First Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with MNS Engineers (a local vendor) for engineering consulting services to extend the period of performance for an additional 2 years making the entire term December 13, 2016 through December 12, 2020;
c) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the First Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Rende Consulting (not a local vendor) for engineering consulting services to extend the period of performance for an additional 2 years making the entire term December 13, 2016 through December 12, 2020; and
d) Find that the proposed amendments do not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to 14 CCR 15378 (b)(5) (Organizational or administrative activities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment), and approve and direct staff to file the Notice of Exemption on that basis.
