Title

Consider recommendations regarding the HIV Prevention Program Grant Agreement with California Department of Public Health (CDPH), as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Public Health Director to execute Grant Agreement Number 18-10594 with CDPH to accept funding for the HIV Prevention Program to increase and improve HIV testing and support services, in the amount not to exceed $25,000.00 for the period of November 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019;

 

b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0006110 that will amend the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Public Health Department Adopted Budget for an amount of $25,000.00, which represents the anticipated amount of Fiscal Year 2018-2019 spending of the additional funds; and

 

c) Determine that the recommended action is not a “project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is exempt per CEQA Guideline Section 15378(b)(4) since the recommended action is a government fiscal activity that does not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
