Title: Consider recommendations regarding the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development Data Use Agreement for the Health Officer, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Public Health Department Health Officer to submit the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development a Data Use Agreement to receive Emergency Visit and Hospitalization Data for the years 2005 through 2018 for the use by the Epidemiology Unit to evaluate local health issues through analysis of disease trend and injury data in Santa Barbara County; b) Approve and authorize the Public Health Department Director, or designee, to approve additional data use agreements for the years 2019 through 2024 for the same purpose and upon concurrence by the County Counsel's Office; and c) Determine that the activity is not a "Project" subject to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review per CEQA Guideline Section 15378(b)(5), since the activity is an organizational or administrative activity of government tha...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development Data Use Agreement for the Health Officer, as follows:

 

a) Approve and authorize the Public Health Department Health Officer to submit the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development a Data Use Agreement to receive Emergency Visit and Hospitalization Data for the years 2005 through 2018 for the use by the Epidemiology Unit to evaluate local health issues through analysis of disease trend and injury data in Santa Barbara County;

 

b) Approve and authorize the Public Health Department Director, or designee, to approve additional data use agreements for the years 2019 through 2024 for the same purpose and upon concurrence by the County Counsel’s Office; and

 

c) Determine that the activity is not a “Project” subject to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review per CEQA Guideline Section 15378(b)(5), since the activity is an organizational or administrative activity of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
