Title

Consider recommendations regarding Health Resources and Services Administration Health Center Integrated Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) Funding, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Public Health Department Director to accept and receive supplemental funding to the Health Resources and Services Administration Grant Award H80CS00046-18-06 dated August 1, 2019 for integrated behavioral health services with an additional amount of $167,000.00 for the duration of the period through February 28, 2021;

 

b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0006678 to establish appropriations for $83,500.00 of unanticipated revenue from the Federal government for Health Resources and Services Administration supplemental funding and increasing Salaries and Benefits and Services and Supplies for Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-2020 in the County’s financial system;

 

c) Authorize the Public Health Department to fund one 1.0 FTE currently unfunded, vacant position in the department with the allocation from the supplemental funding; and

 

d) Determine that the recommended actions are not a “Project” with the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is exempt per CEQA Guideline section 15378(b)(5), since the recommended actions are organizational or administrative activities of the government that will not result in direct or indirect physical change in the environment.
