Title

Consider recommendations regarding a Third Amendment for Services of Independent Contractor with Child Abuse Listening Mediation (CALM), Fiscal Years (FYs) 2018-2020, as follows:

 

a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Chair to execute a Third Amendment for Services of Independent Contractor with CALM, Inc., a California nonprofit corporation (a local vendor), for the provision of mental health services, to update performance measures, add crisis intervention services to Exhibits A-2, A-3 and A-5, add Child and Adolescent Needs and Strength and Pediatric Symptom Checklist services to Exhibits A-3, A-5, A-6, and A-7, and update the Santa Maria location for services provided under Exhibit A-7, with no change to the contract maximum amount of $6,045,061.00 for the period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2020;

 

b) Approve and authorize the Chair to delegate to the Director of Behavioral Wellness or her designee the authority to make immaterial changes to the agreement and reallocate funds between funding sources at their discretion during the term of the agreement without altering the Maximum Contract Amount or requiring a formal amendment to the agreements per Section 25 of the Standard Terms and Conditions and Exhibits B and B-1 of the agreement and subject to the Board’s ability to rescind this delegated authority at any time; and

 

c) Determine that the above actions are government fiscal activities that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment, pursuant to section 15378(b)(4) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines.
