Title: Consider recommendations regarding an agreement with Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA) for PC 1000/DUI Program Services, Fiscal Years (FYs) 2020-2023, as follows: a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute a multi-year Revenue Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with CADA, a California non-profit corporation (a local vendor), for the provision of DUI and PC 1000 Program Services, with a projected revenue of $9,000.00 per year for the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023; b) Approve and authorize the Chair to delegate to the Director of Behavioral Wellness or designee the authority to make immaterial changes to the Agreement without requiring a formal amendment to the Agreement, subject to the Board's ability to rescind this delegated authority at any time; and c) Determine that the above actions are government fiscal activities or funding mechanisms, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potential...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding an agreement with Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA) for PC 1000/DUI Program Services, Fiscal Years (FYs) 2020-2023, as follows:

 

a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute a multi-year Revenue Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with CADA, a California non-profit corporation (a local vendor), for the provision of DUI and PC 1000 Program Services, with a projected revenue of $9,000.00 per year for the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023;

 

b) Approve and authorize the Chair to delegate to the Director of Behavioral Wellness or designee the authority to make immaterial changes to the Agreement without requiring a formal amendment to the Agreement, subject to the Board’s ability to rescind this delegated authority at any time; and

 

c) Determine that the above actions are government fiscal activities or funding mechanisms, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment and are therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines.
