Title: Consider recommendations regarding a Santa Ynez Valley Airport Improvement Program Grant 18 (AIP 18), Project No. 19036 - Authorization to Execute the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Grant to Remove and Replace Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS), Third District, as follows: a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Director of General Services to execute FAA Grant Agreement No. 3-06-0243-018-2020 of approximately $371,814.00 and not to exceed the maximum allowable amount of $427,586.00; b) Authorize the Director of General Services to act as agent on behalf of the County of Santa Barbara pertaining to the acceptance of the FAA Grant Agreement Offer; and c) Find that the proposed project falls within the scope of the previously filed Notice of Exemption and is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15302(b), as it consists of replacement of existing structures and facilities where t...

Consider recommendations regarding a Santa Ynez Valley Airport Improvement Program Grant 18 (AIP 18), Project No. 19036 - Authorization to Execute the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Grant to Remove and Replace Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS), Third District, as follows:

 

a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Director of General Services to execute FAA Grant Agreement No. 3-06-0243-018-2020 of approximately $371,814.00 and not to exceed the maximum allowable amount of $427,586.00;

 

b) Authorize the Director of General Services to act as agent on behalf of the County of Santa Barbara pertaining to the acceptance of the FAA Grant Agreement Offer; and
