Title: Consider recommendations regarding an Agreement to Provide Traffic Signal Maintenance Services to the City of Goleta, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement between the County of Santa Barbara and the City of Goleta for the County's provision to the City for Traffic Signal Maintenance Services, for an initial term of five (5) years; b) Authorize the County Road Commissioner to approve amendments to the Agreement in an amount not to exceed 10% of the base Agreement amount and immaterial amendments in accordance with Section 5 of the Agreement, and to renew the Agreement for additional one (1) year terms following the expiration of the initial five (5) year term; and c) Find that the proposed actions are for the operation and maintenance of an existing public facility, involving negligible, or no expansion of use beyond that, which presently exists, that the proposed action is therefore exempt from California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to 14 CCR...

Consider recommendations regarding an Agreement to Provide Traffic Signal Maintenance Services to the City of Goleta, as follows:

 

a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement between the County of Santa Barbara and the City of Goleta for the County’s provision to the City for Traffic Signal Maintenance Services, for an initial term of five (5) years;

 

b) Authorize the County Road Commissioner to approve amendments to the Agreement in an amount not to exceed 10% of the base Agreement amount and immaterial amendments in accordance with Section 5 of the Agreement, and to renew the Agreement for additional one (1) year terms following the expiration of the initial five (5) year term; and

 

c) Find that the proposed actions are for the operation and maintenance of an existing public facility, involving negligible, or no expansion of use beyond that, which presently exists, that the proposed action is therefore exempt from California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to 14 CCR 15301(c), and approve and direct staff to file a Notice of Exemption on that basis.
