Consider recommendations regarding Closure Statements to Cooperative Agreements with Caltrans for the Las Vegas/San Pedro Creeks Drainage Improvement Project, Second District, as follows:
Acting as the Board of Directors, Flood Control and Water Conservation District:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a Closure Statement to Cooperative Agreement No. 05-CA-0154, dated July 5, 2007 as amended by Amendment No. 1, dated December 28, 2011, with the State of California Department of Transportation associated with the Las Vegas/San Pedro Creeks Drainage Improvement Project;
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a Closure Statement for Cooperative Agreement No. 05-0296, dated August 6, 2015, with the State of California Department of Transportation associated with the Las Vegas/San Pedro Creeks Drainage Improvement Project; and
c) Find that the recommended actions to execute Closure Statements for Cooperative Agreements associated with a completed Project are organizational or administrative activities that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment and therefore does not constitute a Project within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act as set forth in 14 CCR 15378(b)(5).
