Title: HEARING - Consider recommendations regarding a Juneteenth Celebration and Community Report on Work Being Done for the Advancement of Black and African-American Equity in Santa Barbara County, as follows: (EST. TIME: 1 HR. 30 MIN.) a) Receive and file a presentation from community groups Healing Justice Santa Barbara and the Santa Maria-Lompoc chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) regarding the work they are doing in our county to advance Black and African-American equity in celebration of the Juneteenth holiday; and b) Determine that the recommended actions do not constitute a project subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(5), finding that the project is an organizational or administrative activity of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
