Title: Consider recommendations regarding a donation of gym equipment valued at $18,767.02 from the Santa Barbara Special Enforcement Team Support Foundation, Inc. for the Sheriff's Office employee wellness centers, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Accept a donation of gym equipment valued at $18,767.02 from the Santa Barbara Special Enforcement Team Support Foundation, Inc., a 501(c) (3) organization; b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0007878 recognizing the value of the donation as revenue and expense; and c) Find that the proposed action does not constitute a "project" under the California Environmental Quality Act because it is within the exception provided by 14 CCR 15378(b)(4) for "[t]he creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment."
