Title: Consider recommendations regarding the approval and execution of a First Amendment to the Subrecipient Agreement with United Way of Santa Barbara County to administer the County's direct allocation of Emergency Rental Assistance funds, as follows: a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Chair to execute a "First Amendment to Subrecipient Agreement" with United Way of Santa Barbara County to add funding in the amount of $2,442,626.00 from the second tranche of the County's American Rescue Plan Emergency Rent Assistance (ERA 2) allocation for continued administration of an emergency rent assistance payment program; and b) Determine that the recommended actions are not the acceptance and approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), finding that the project is a creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities, which do not involve any commit...

Consider recommendations regarding the approval and execution of a First Amendment to the Subrecipient Agreement with United Way of Santa Barbara County to administer the County’s direct allocation of Emergency Rental Assistance funds, as follows:

 

a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Chair to execute a “First Amendment to Subrecipient Agreement” with United Way of Santa Barbara County to add funding in the amount of $2,442,626.00 from the second tranche of the County’s American Rescue Plan Emergency Rent Assistance (ERA 2) allocation for continued administration of an emergency rent assistance payment program; and

 

b) Determine that the recommended actions are not the acceptance and approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), finding that the project is a creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
