Title: Consider recommendations regarding the Acceptance of The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS), for the Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act (LEMHWA) grant, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0007990 appropriating $41,200.00 in grant revenue and corresponding expense for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-2022; and allocate remaining funds to the following FY's budget; b) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Sheriff to accept the COPS Office/LEMHWA grant in the amount of $123,596.00 to be used over FY 2021-2022, FY 2022-2023, FY 2023-2024; and c) Determine that the above action is not a project pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), as it is the creation of a government funding mechanism or other government fiscal activity, which does not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
