Consider recommendations regarding a Ninth Amendment for Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center Designation Revenue Agreement with Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital; Seventh Amendment for Level III Adult Trauma Center Designation Revenue Agreement with Marian Regional Medical Center, as follows:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a Ninth Amendment to the Agreement for Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center Designation with Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital to add $184,258.00, and to extend the term for twelve (12) months through December 31, 2022 at a 2% increase;
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a Seventh Amendment to the Agreement with Marian Regional Medical Center for Level III Adult Trauma Center Designation to add $63,401.00, and to extend the term for twelve (12) months through December 31, 2022 at a 2% increase; and
c) Determine that the proposed actions do not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines, because the actions consist of the creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant impact on the environment.
