Consider recommendations regarding an Amendment to the Immunization Local Assistance Revenue Grant Agreement Number 17-10348, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)
a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute a Third Amendment to Grant Agreement No. 17-10348 for the Immunization Local Assistance Grant with the California Department of Public Health Immunization Branch to support vaccine preventable disease prevention and surveillance activities and COVID-19 vaccination activities. This Third Amendment increases funding by $4,509,493.00 for a total revenue amount of $5,488,584.00 with a period of performance from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2022;
b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0008052 to amend the Public Health Department Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Budget to add $2,304,271.00 in new revenue and appropriation to be spent from July 2021 through June 2022; and
c) Determine that these activities are exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review per CEQA Guideline Section 15378(b)(4), since the recommended actions are government fiscal activities which do not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
