Consider recommendations regarding First 5 Children and Families Commission of Santa Barbara County acceptance of appropriations, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Accept an additional $515.00 in one-time funding for First 5 Santa Barbara County to coordinate the Home Visitation Coordination grant received from First 5 California; First 5 California approved a budget revision to the grant on October 15, 2021; funds were moved from Fiscal Year (FY) 2020-2021 to FY 2021-2022;

 

b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0008117 to establish appropriations of $515.00 in First 5 Santa Barbara County’s First 5 Child and Families Commission Fund for Services and Supplies funded by revenue from First 5 California; and

 

c) Determine that the activity is not a “Project” subject to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review per CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), the creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
