Title: Consider recommendations regarding a request for Waiver of Competitive Bidding for specified vendors providing fleet maintenance parts and supplies, as follows: a) Authorize the County Purchasing Agent, pursuant to County Code section 2-39, to procure vehicle parts for County fleet vehicles from three local vendors in the total amount of $150,000.00 annually, without being required to conduct a formal bid process through June 30, 2025; and b) Determine pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines: 15378(b)(5) that the above action is not a project subject to the CEQA as it is an administrative activity of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
