Title: Consider recommendations regarding a contract amendment for Emergency Operations Center Server Room Expansion and HVAC Upgrade Project, Project No. 20012, First District, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute Amendment No. 1 to the contract with Smith Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing Inc. for the Emergency Operations Center Server Room Expansion and HVAC Upgrade Project incorporating American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) required terms into the agreement with no change to the maximum contract amount; and b) Find that the project was determined by your board on May 17, 2022 to be exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to sections 15301, subdivision (a), and 15302 of the CEQA Guidelines, because the project is a minor alteration to a public structure involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use and the replacement of existing equipment; that a Notice of Exemption was filed on that basis, and that the above actions are within...
