Title: Consider recommendations regarding a standard agreement (17-MITPPS-21021) between the County of Santa Barbara Fire Department and the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), to receive $280,000.00 under HCD's Community Development Block Grant Mitigation-Planning and Public Services (CDBG MIT-PPS) program, as follows: a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Fire Chief to execute Standard Agreement 17-MITPPS-21021 with state HCD for funding in the amount of $280,000.00 under HCD's CDBG MIT-PPS program; and b) Determine this action is exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4), finding that the action is a creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant impact on the environment.
