Title: Consider recommendations regarding a $86,550.00 grant for the Traffic Records Improvement Project (TRIP) from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS)/National Highway Traffic Safety Association, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Approve and authorize the Sheriff or his designee to execute a grant agreement with the State of California OTS for the TRIP for the period from October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023 in the amount of $86,550.00; b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0008570, appropriating $86,550.00 in grant revenue and corresponding expenses; and c) Determine that the proposed action does not constitute a "Project" within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to 14 CCR 15378(b)(4), in that it is a government fiscal or funding activity that will not result in direct or indirect changes in the environment.
