Significant exposure to civil litigation: 1 case.

 

The State housing element law (Government Code Section 65588) mandates that the County update its housing element every eight years. In February 2023, the current, eight-year housing cycle addressed in the 2015-2023 Housing Element Update will conclude.  The County is working on its 2023-2031 Housing Element Update, but likely will not complete that process until the Summer of 2023.  Here is a link to the County’s web page on that item: <https://www.countyofsb.org/3177/Housing-Element-Update> .
