Title: Consider recommendations regarding an agreement for professional services of independent contractor with Shield7 Consulting LLC, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a professional services agreement with Shield7 Consulting LLC for the annual renewal of Check Point support and licensing in a total contract amount not to exceed $219,778.00, for the period beginning April 11, 2023, through April 10, 2024; b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0008777; and c) Determine that the above recommended actions are a government funding mechanism or other government fiscal activity, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project that may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment and is therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines.
