Title: Consider recommendations regarding Preventing and Responding to ACEs-Associated Health Conditions and Toxic Stress in Clinics through Community Engagement (ACEs PRACTICE) Grant, as follows: a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics (SBNC), a California not-for-profit public benefit corporation to accept and receive reimbursement funding from SBNC for ACEs PRACTICE grant activities for the project period of September 1, 2022 through November 30, 2023, in the amount of $50,000.00; and b) Determine that the proposed action does not constitute a "Project" within the meaning of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines, because it consists of the creation of a government funding mechanism or other government fiscal activity, which does not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant impact on the envir...
