Title: Consider recommendations regarding a request for a Waiver of Competition in the purchase of pharmaceuticals from Cardinal Health 110, LLC for Fiscal Years (FYs) 2023-2026, as follows: a) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to procure wholesale stock pharmaceuticals for the County Psychiatric Health Facility from Cardinal Health 110, LLC (not a local vendor) without being required to conduct a formal bid process for an amount not to exceed $300,000.00 ($100,000.00 per FY) for the period of November 28, 2023 through December 31, 2026; and b) Determine that the above action is a government funding mechanism or other government fiscal activity, which does not involve any commitment to any specific project that may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment, and is therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines.
