Consider recommendations regarding a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments (SBCAG) for Electric Vehicle Charging Station Funding, as follows:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an MOU to be entered into with SBCAG, to receive $385,000.00 towards the installation of electric vehicle charging stations at County facilities; and
b) Determine that the recommended actions do not constitute a project subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15304 Class 4 which consists of minor alterations in the condition of the land, water and/or vegetation which does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees, and Section 15301 Class 1 which consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving n...
