Title: Consider recommendations regarding the Donation of Equipment from MOS Equipment, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Accept a donation of $17,497.00 in technical equipment from MOS Equipment for the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB); b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0009526 to increase appropriations of $17,497.00 in Sheriff General Fund for Services and Supplies (upgraded CIB equipment) funded by a donation from MOS Equipment; and c) Determine that the above actions are not a project pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), finding that the action is not a project as it is the creation of a government funding mechanism or other government fiscal activity, which does not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
