Title: Consider recommendations regarding an Air Pollution Control District (APCD) Clean Air Grant for Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EV Charger) at Wallace Ave, First District, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Electric Vehicle Charging Station Infrastructure Program Grant Agreement with the Santa Barbara County APCD for acceptance of a grant in the amount of $70,000.00 for installation of one (1) EV Charger at Wallace Avenue in Summerland, California; b) Approve the Budget Revision Request No. 0009630 appropriating $70,000.00 in grant revenue for the EV Charger; and c) Determine that the recommended actions are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15262 and 15378(b)(4) of the State Guidelines for the Implementation of CEQA, finding that the activities involve only feasibility or planning studies for possible future actions which the Board has not approved, adopted or funded and are the creatio...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding an Air Pollution Control District (APCD) Clean Air Grant for Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EV Charger) at Wallace Ave, First District, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Electric Vehicle Charging Station Infrastructure Program Grant Agreement with the Santa Barbara County APCD for acceptance of a grant in the amount of $70,000.00 for installation of one (1) EV Charger at Wallace Avenue in Summerland, California;

 

b) Approve the Budget Revision Request No. 0009630 appropriating $70,000.00 in grant revenue for the EV Charger; and

 

c) Determine that the recommended actions are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15262 and 15378(b)(4) of the State Guidelines for the Implementation of CEQA, finding that the activities involve only feasibility or planning studies for possible future actions which the Board has not approved, adopted or funded and are the creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant impact on the environment.
