Title

Consider recommendations regarding Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Local - Infrastructure Program Grant Agreement with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and Personnel Resolution, as follows:

 

a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Public Health Director to execute Grant Agreement Number 19-10853 with CDPH to accept funding for the implementing the project, Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Local - Infrastructure, in the amount not to exceed $438,556.54 for the period of May 12, 2020 through June 30, 2023; 

 

b) Approve and authorize the Director of Public Health, or designee, to make and sign all required representations and certifications, and to make changes to the Project Representatives or remittance address, as required under the Grant Agreement No. 19-10853;

 

c) Adopt the Salary Resolution, which allocates to the Public Health Department one (1) 1.0 FTE Health Educator (job class 3910) as of May 18, 2020; and

 

d) Determine that this action is not a “Project” under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per CEQA Guideline section 15378(b)(4), since the recommended action is a government fiscal activity which does not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
