Title

Consider recommendations regarding Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Funding Acceptance, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Consistent with Resolution No. 19-62, approve, ratify, and authorize the County Executive Officer (CEO) to execute the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) HMGP Obligation Report for project HMGP-4431-716-18P to accept $225,000.00 for revising and updating the required Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan for the Santa Barbara County Operational Area with a performance period of September 18, 2020 to April 18, 2023;

 

b) If required, approve and authorize the CEO, or the Director of the Office of Emergency Management (OEM), or the CEO Business Manager to execute any amendments for HMGP-4431-716-18P as described above and to make any certifications and assurances that may be required;

 

c) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0007256 to increase appropriations of $110,000.00 in the County Executive Office General Fund for Services and Supplies funded by unanticipated Hazard Mitigation Grant Program revenue from the California Office of Emergency Services; and

 

d) Determine that the proposed action is related to the creation of a government funding mechanism and other fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment, and is therefore exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guideline section 15378 (b)(4).
