Title: Consider recommendations regarding the adoption of the Santa Barbara County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (the Plan) Update (February 2023), as follows: a) Adopt by Resolution the updated Santa Barbara County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan, and resolve to integrate by reference the Santa Barbara County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan into the Santa Barbara County Safety Element of the Comprehensive Plan, with the next Safety Element update in accordance with the requirements of Government Code Sections 65302 and 8685.9; b) Authorize the Director of Emergency Management to finalize any required revisions from FEMA to the Plan; and c) Determine that the adoption of this Plan is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as provided by CEQA guidelines Section 15061 (b) (3). (No possibility of impact on the environment).
