Title: Consider recommendations regarding an Amendment to the professional services contract with Bengal Engineering for engineering services for the South Coast Recycling and Transfer Station, Second District, as follows: a) Approve and authorize Amendment No. 2 to Agreement BC17-171 for engineering services of independent contractor Bengal Engineering (a local vendor) to increase the agreement amount up to $55,895.00 for a revised total amount not to exceed $182,915.00, and to extend the term through December 31, 2019 for a revised full term of October 3, 2016 through December 31, 2019; and b) Find that the proposed action does not constitute a "Project" within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to 15378(b)(5), organizational or administrative activities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes to the environment and approve the filing of the Notice of Exemption on that basis.
