Consider recommendations regarding the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA), Family Service Agency and Good Samaritan Shelter Services, Inc. Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-2019 Contract Renewals, as follows:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement for services of Independent Contractor with CADA (a local vendor), for the provision of substance use disorder services and children’s mental health services, for a total contract not to exceed $787,650.00 for the period July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019;
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Family Service Agency (a local vendor), for the provision of children’s mental health services, and substance use prevention services, for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,823,133.00 for the period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019;
c) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Good Samaritan Shelter Services, Inc. (a local vendor), for the provision of substance use disorder and shelter services, for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,030,397.00 for the period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019; and
d) Determine that the above actions are organizational or administrative actions of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment, pursuant to Section 15378(b)(5) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines.
