Title

Consider recommendations regarding STD Program Management and Collaboration Project Grant Number 19-10974, as follows:

 

a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute Grant Agreement Number 19-10974 and required certifications with California Department of Public Health to accept funding for the implementation of the STD Program Management and Collaboration Project Grant in the amount not to exceed $830,005.00 for the grant period July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2024;

 

b) Approve and authorize the Public Health Director, or designee, to make Project Representative changes in accordance with the Grant Agreement;

 

c) Adopt a Salary Resolution, which allocates to the Public Health Department two positions: one (1) full-time (1.0 FTE) and one (1) part-time (0.5 FTE) Laboratory Assistant (job class 004540) effective September 7, 2020; and

 

d) Determine that this action is exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review per CEQA Guideline section 15378(b)(4), since the recommended action is a government fiscal activity which does not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
